When you first look at the name Highschool of the Dead you think of what else? Zombies and high school students beating the crap out of them. But in this case you'd only be half right. On the surface it looks like the type of anime you'd expect to have a lot of blood, gore, violence, and zombie slaying. But Highschool of the Dead is what I like to call "a mixed bag" an anime that only delivers only half of what it's suppose to deliver and half of things it's not suppose to. I did really enjoy watching it however there are some points I need to address. I'll explain more of it after the jump.

Yen Press Adds Highschool of the Dead & UraBoku

The North American manga publisher Yen Press has announced at its Comic-Con International panel on Friday that it licensed Daisuke Sato and Shoji Sato’s Highschool of The Dead, Hotaru Odagiri’s Betrayal Knows My Name (Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru/Uraboku), Kaoru Mori’s Otoyome-Gatari (The Bride’s Stories), and En Kitou’s Higurashi: When They Cry Demon Exposing Arc (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Onisarashi-Hen). The publisher will also release Aron’s Absurd Armada by Misun Kim online.
